Welcome!

Hello! My name is Gemma and I am Mum to 2 year old Roman and partner to Gareth. We live in Christchurch, NZ where I have previously worked as a flight attendant and in the banking and insurance industries.

I made the leap into studying to become a Sleep & Wellness Coach (Sleep Consultant) to help families feel more empowered when it comes to all things sleep and settling in those early years.

I became interested in baby sleep shortly after Roman was born. I quickly realised I was uneducated and felt overwhelmed at the amount of information there was out there. My mental health suffered and I was worried about how I could navigate sleep long term for our whole family. I spent hours trawling the internet and putting pieces of information together and I worked hard at getting Roman to a great place with his sleep. I loved having routine, structure and knew what to expect as he grew. I was a much better parent when I was well rested and know that he was also a happier, contented child as a result.

I love providing parents with the same information and taking away the guesswork and stress and anxiety that comes with all things sleep (and lack thereof!). I work alongside you as a family with gentle methods (that work!) and love seeing the amazing results that come from being well-rested.

Sleep is crucial to our health and wellbeing not only for our children but for parents too! You might want your baby to sleep so you can have time with your partner, get to the gym, enjoy going out to dinner or having some uninterrupted “me time”. Whatever it is – I love celebrating the wins that come with getting sleep under control! I’m a big advocate of not feeling guilty for wanting your little one to sleep so you can have consistency and routine across your day. Parenting is hard enough without being exhausted!

​I want to work with families who are sick and tired of muddling through, hoping things will get better and feeling confused and anxious about their child’s sleep. I want to give families the confidence to navigate sleep issues and challenges that will come up.
